Meg grew up in Portland Oregon, and moved to East Texas to be closer to her family.

She’s a photographer and videographer with a niche in nonprofit and business branding.

Meg received her Bachelor of Science with a double major in psychology and music from Western Oregon University. While in school, she served as a house manager for a women’s shelter. After she graduated, she was a program manager for teen mothers. She also served as the interim executive director for a non-profit serving women transitioning from drug and mental health court.

Her real passion is for youth, foster kids, and former foster kids. Having been raised in foster care herself, she offers a unique perspective and has been an advocate for foster care, adoption, and disadvantaged youth.

Meg is enthusiastic and passionate about doing better to make a difference in the world around her. She lives her life and serves her community  from the perspective of Dr. Maya Angelou - “do what you can until you know better, and when you know better, do better.”
